About PS-Arch
The Paris School of Architecture (PS-Arch) is a new independent school of architecture created in Paris, developed in response to the radical changes over the last decade, and the changing nature of architectural practice today.
OVERVIEW
Located in the centre of Paris, one of the world’s most iconic international cities, the school is positioned at the heart of Europe. In keeping with this international focus, our programme of study prepares graduates to become leaders in architecture, construction, philosophy, journalism, emerging technologies and the arts.
The Paris School of Architecture equips its graduates with the artistic, philosophical, intellectual and technical skills required by the industry to become exceptional future professionals. Based in a new studio in the Canal Saint-Martin area, PS-Arch draws on the European design and construction world to offer Master Classes led by creative international industry leaders. This approach is designed to produce the next generation of global architectural practitioners.
ABOUT US
The Paris School of Architecture offers a new pedagogical structure, combining core architectural components in alignment with RIBA Part II guidelines with emerging professional and intellectual requirements to better prepare its graduates for work in practice, establishing their own practices, or work in related fields. Each tutor at the PS-Arch is also active in practice, so that we retain our strong connection to industry.
The school obtained RIBA Part II Candidate Course status in May 2026.
A EUROPEAN SCHOOL
PS-Arch was founded by practitioners in Paris who work around Europe, and who have either taught or graduated from the schools in Europe and the US.
In addition, the school places importance on the study of architectural, artistic, philosophical, legal and construction methodologies pertinent to different jurisdictions to allow graduates to work seamlessly across Europe and the world. This cultural exchange promotes and reinforces the international focus of the school and its pedagogy.
A NEW SCHOOL
Since its participation in cultural events and workshops in 2019, and with its official opening in September 2021, the Paris School has offered a Diploma in Advanced Architecture – Part 2. The school also offers partnerships with French institutions registered with the Répertoire national des certifications professionnelles (RNCP), the body that accredits private educational institutions in France.
Our cohort of students form a critical part of our course development, with a student council with the opportunity to propose additional subjects as technologies and cultures evolve, develop exchange relationships with other institutions, and meet with the school's leadership, the Academic Council.
OPEN DAY
An open day will be held in January 2026, for those interested in applying for the 2026-27 academic year.
