ADMISSIONS

The PSA application process is a two-step process: submission of an online application for review by the school administration, followed by an interview via video conference for candidates showing promise. Candidates are encouraged to exhibit creativity in their portfolio submission and to clearly explain their goals for study at PSA.

  • Admission to the school is based on the submission of a digital portfolio, followed by an interview for selected candidates. The school welcomes applications from all who are interested in studying architecture and associated disciplines. As the school teaches in English only, a high level of English is required.

Candidates should also demonstrate an awareness and ability to undertake advanced study of their proposed architectural subject.

  • Fees for the academic year 2026-27 are 10,609 €.

A 4,000 € deposit is paid during the enrolment process to confirm your place. This deposit is deducted from the remaining tuition fee balance, which is due before your arrival at school.

Students typically incur additional costs related to studio work, due to the materials required for model-making, drawing and presentations.

PSA attributes the Studio Research Project Award at the end of the academic year in June. This award provides the opportunity for one graduate student to teach within the school's research studio, as a paid teaching assistant, for the duration of the academic year following their graduation.

  • It is the responsibility of the student to organise their housing and living costs during their time at PSA. The French government provides some housing assistance to students and interns. Further information may be found at https://www.caf.fr.

Non-EEA citizens will require a visa to study in France. It is the student’s responsibility to obtain the correct residency authorisation for their study at PSA. The school administration will provide a letter to students admitted to its program, which may be used for visa requirement purposes.

An orientation week at the beginning of term will introduce students to the school, its faculty and facilities, in addition to the surrounding neighbourhood.
